Nice analogy pastor. Question: After David defeated Goliath didn’t he go to be with his best friend, a young boy/man named Jonathan. (I bet Jonathan insisted on being called Jonathan and NOT Jon) And then after hangin out with Jonathan in a cave writing and singing songs, perhaps he realized how it looked…so he went home and cheated on his wife and doinked some naked lady sunbathing on her roof. And then shortly after he got in a big fight with his young friend Jonathan? The whole thing is just kind of “gay” to me. Just saying you might wanna choose a different biblical role model. Maybe the Apostle Paul?! Who wrote such long love letters to young Timothy…On second thought. Stick with David.
